Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what the form asks for, we use it to verify and route your inquiry to the up-to-four vendors in each category and metro, we never sell or broker it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

01 · What we collect

Information you give us

From couples (on the inquiry form). Your name, email, phone number, wedding date, budget bucket, free-text venue or general location, and the 1–3 vendor categories you select. We collect exactly what the form asks for and nothing else.

From vendors (on the signup form).Business name, contact name, contact email, contact phone, website, category, and metro you’re applying for. Stripe collects your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number.

Automatically. Standard server logs (timestamp, route, IP address, user agent) as our proxy processes each request. These are kept short-term for security and abuse prevention and are not used to profile you.

02 · How we use it

Verification + capped routing, nothing else

Couple inquiries are checked against form rules (real date inside the published window, plausible budget, working email and phone) and then routed to the up-to-four vendors already seated in each of the categories and metros you selected. We do not enrich, score, or rank your inquiry beyond that. We do not train models on it. We do not sell it.

Vendor applications are checked against our category / metro cap, then approved or wait-listed. Stripe manages the recurring monthly subscription; we receive only the subscription status Stripe sends us, never the card details.

03 · Who we share with

Up to four verified vendors — and only those

Your couple inquiry is shared with the up-to-four verified vendors in each requested category and metro. A vendor reply will include the same basics you sent us: your name, wedding date, venue, budget, and the categories you picked.

We never sell your information, never share it with a broader list, never broker it to advertisers, and never share it across categories or metros. The cap on each bucket is what keeps the share list small.

04 · Cookies + analytics

A minimal footprint

We use a small set of first-party cookies for session and theme preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site retargeting. The platform’s optional visitor beacon (set at deploy time) counts page views in aggregate and does not identify individual visitors.

Stripe and better-auth may set their own cookies during checkout or sign-in. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s and better-auth’s respective privacy policies — we don’t see or control them.

05 · Retention

What we keep, and for how long

Couple leads. We keep your inquiry row until you ask us to delete it. This gives us a history we can reference if you write us a follow-up question or a vendor calls about the original inquiry.

Vendor records. Vendor profile and application data persist while the subscription is active, and for a reasonable tax / chargeback window afterwards (typically several years for U.S. tax records), and then are deleted.

Server logs. Short-term only, used for security and abuse prevention. Not used to build a profile of you.

06 · Requesting deletion

No account required — just email us

Send a deletion request to the-few-and-fitting@polsia.app with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address you originally used (so we can match the row). We’ll confirm the request, delete the row within thirty days, and reply when it’s done. If you can’t send from the original email, include enough detail for us to identify the row manually.

07 · Your rights

Access, correction, portability

How we update it

We may revise this policy. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, give reasonable notice through the platform or by email. Continued use of The Few and Fitting after a change means you accept the updated policy.
